The Boarding House Bezdrev

A family boarding house, completely renovated in 2009, lies in Zliv, a small town near České Budějovice, in a quiet wooded area, on the bank of Bezdrev pond.

The boarding house includes a bar, a restaurant with a terrace, a separated dining hall and a summer house. The parking lot just next to the house.

The boarding house offers accommodation and meals, renting of a whole restaurant or a separated dining hall for family parties, wedding parties, staff and other trainings or business events. Private events on the whole premises are possible after previous agreement.

Boarding House Bezdrev - Location

A small quiet town Zliv lies near České Budějovice, about 4 km from Hluboká nad Vltavou, from which it is separated by one of the largest and best-known South Bohemian ponds - Bezdrev. There, on its bank, resembling a small peninsula (its local name is Králičí Vrch - Rabbit´s Hill), is  situated the boarding house Bezdrev - pleasantly hidden under the trees, taking its name after the pond.

Boarding House Bezdrev - Accommodation

On the first floor there are 10 rooms of the total capacity of 30 beds. All rooms are newly rebuilt and equipped. The rooms of more than two beds are of maisonette type. Each room has a bathroom of its own containing a shower, a wash-basin and toilet, as well as LCD TV with a satelite receiver, and a safety lock door. WiFi on the whole premises.

Boarding House Bezdrev -  Meals

The boarding house offers a restaurant of 70 seats. Venison and fish specialities as well as typical Czech meals are offered. The restaurant terrace of  30 seats or the summer house of 20-30 seats for enjoying meals alfresco.

Receptions, social parties or barbicueing can be arranged.

The boarding house Bezdrev is situated in an attractive area in South Bohemia, full of places of natural, cultural and historical interest as well as cycle paths.

You can visit - Hluboká (4 km from the boarding house) - Hluboká chateau, Ohrada chateau, Ohrada ZOO, the outdoor swimming-pool with a tobogan, massage tables, a children pool with a water chute, bowling, horse riding, golf course, tennis courts, football and rugby fields, a giant woodden castle for children etc.

České Budějovice (10 km from the boarding house) - the historical, cultural and sport centre

Třeboň - Schwarzenberg family tomb, the pond Svět, Třeboň chateau

Český Krumlov (40 km from the boarding house) - an important historical and cultural centre - UNESCO listed monument - a castle and a chateau, the chateau park, the Baroque theatre, the wax museum, Fairy-tale House - the puppet museum, Torture Museum - medieval torture instruments, golf course etc.
